SPEECH & DRAMA

Theatre art is one that transgresses the normal habit in young children of playing and learning. In the early stages i.e. the elementary classes, they learn the basics of structuring their “pretending” for presentation to an audience. The advanced skills that they learn when they grow up are acting, directing, scene and costume design, play writing and stage management.

Age group :Minimum 6 years.
Course contents :Acting out passages with proper expressions and feelings, and writing essays about dramatic works.
Examination System :Students are sent for graded and Diplomas examinations conducted by University of West London. Students are encouraged to appear for examinations in SSLCM for the beginner grades and Grade 3, 5 and 8 with The University .

Oral Communication

Communication is a vital process in everyone’s lives and careers. Effective communication is very effective in all our lives. Not just for adults, effective communication is important for children as well, for their academic development and discussions at school. A child who can communicate effectively cannot just express him/herself properly, but can also listen and understand what people around want to convey.

Age group :Minimum 6 years.
Course contents :The ability to communicate in the commercial industry and educational institute is what we teach our students here at LCM Kolkata. Students are taught many inter personal skills which help them at effective communication. Extempore, Debates, Presentations, Convincing power, Leadership qualities and Creative Writing is what our students master at the end of the course.
Students are encouraged to appear for examinations in SSLCM for the beginner grades and Grade 3, 5 and 8 with The University .

ESOL

Spoken English is an integral part in education and every single youngster feels the need to master the language.
This course is designed for children to adults, teaching the subject effectively and the candidate may appear for examinations.
